Miami Beach: My Christmas Break
This year, for Christmas, I decided to omit the freezing weather and skip the great white North that is Canada altogether. Instead, I spent some quality time in Miami. I’d just graduated from Grad School, wasn’t working yet, and knew I was going to have to do nothing forever for at least two weeks in Canada after my surgery… So I enjoyed every minute of it. And since I don’t post very many pictures on Facebook and even less videos, I decided to share them on here.
So here it is: the journey of my (unconventional) Christmas break.
At the beginning of the break my partner in crime Sara (you might remember her from previous posts) and I took the boat out to sea to chill and listen to some music.
I think we’ve all seen this one but I like the feel of it
Then it was Christmas so I celebrated that South Florida style
“The main reason Santa is so jolly is because he knows where all the bad girls live.” ― George Carlin

After Christmas was over we had a pool party and went to dinner at the neighbor’s house with a perfect ratio of 20 girls to 1 guy.

Of course, the girls wanted to go out, so we visited LIV nightclub for Dada Life.

Oh wow are you kidding how seductive
Then we decided to have a boat partyyy.
And with every good boat party comes the end of it, the sunset.
Approaching downtown Miami there was a girl dancing by herself.
A day later, the moment we were all waiting for arrived, and Tijs gave us a performance at the 7483rd grand opening of Story nightclub.
I decided to take a video of his performance.
But I thought I was too far away, so I went close to get a better angle… on his head.
The next day it was a little evening at the Villa commonly known as New Year’s Eve.
We went last minute dress shopping and then enjoyed the best NYE party in Miami; Michael Saylor‘s.

Then it was Calvin Harris at LIV Nightclub… couldn’t have thought of a better way to start 2013.
Not stopping on a roll, we had Deadmau5 at Story the very next day. Genius promoter behind this one, since everyone was hungover as hell a little under the weather from NYE yet no one wanted to miss the amazing DJ Electronic Music Producer.
He decided to make usage of his technology while entertaining the crowd.
And FINALLY… the Mau5 head ARRIVED (half way through the show)
The remaining days we rested, we got dressed up at Villa parties, and went boating some more.

Needless to say I had the best Christmas break of my life and came home ready to get done with this surgery and keep rocking & rolling !!!!!!!!
So Pam & I want to take this moment to wish everyone joy, happiness, love, health, and success for 2013 ♥
And I would like to take this moment to THANK YOU ALL from the bottom of my heart for the amazing support you showed through my journey of surgery & convalescence ♥
