a few thoughts…

I was just reflecting today of the blessings that come into our lives. I took a moment to acknowledge in my head the people in my life who are always there for you. I have had the privilege of meeting people from all around the world but I can still count my best friends on a single hand. They’re the people who will always be there for you no matter the bumps that come in the road. They’re the people who will take heat and stand up for you when they don’t even want to just because they will always have your back. And sometimes, by being selfish or ungrateful you can hurt these people, and trust is very hard to gain back. Sometimes it will be inevitable, and sometimes you won’t even know that you hurt them. Just take a moment to accede the people you love, those that are and will always be there for you. Often times it is easy to forget to give compliments or even facile to say hurtful things that, even being meant as a joke can still be hurtful to someone deep down. And sometimes you just straight up f___ up. So take a moment today to tell your family, and most importantly your best friends that have been there through thick and thin, that you love them and that you are there for them.
